Jenis sablon yang satu ini merupakan jenis sablon yang paling sering digunakan. Bisa untuk kaos berwarna gelap maupun terang karena sifatnya yang menumpang dan menutupi rajutan kain. Untuk sablon diatas dasar kain yang melar dibutuhkan cat rubber dengan ramuan khusus agar cat dapat mengikuti kelenturan kain dan berdaya tahan lama. Namun untuk jenis sablon ini jarang digunakan untuk kaos distro surfing dan skate.

In my first post on this blog, I want to discuss about the types of commonly used materials or used today. well for the first material we will discuss ie :

1. KATUN (cotton combed 20s, 24s, 30s)

Bahan katun combed terbuat murni 100% dari serat kapas alami. Hal ini dibedakan berdasarkan jenis benang yang digunakan serta setting gramasinya (gr/m2). Kain 20s memiliki ketebalan yang paling tebal, sedangkan combed 30s memiliki ketebalan yang paling tipis. Kain Combed 20s merupakan kain yang paling banyak dipakai dan menjadi favorit kaos distro karena selain kenyamanan ketika digunakan, harganya juga tidak mahal.

3. POLYESTER dan PE

Polyester sesuai namanya, merupakan bahan serat sintetis yang terbuat dari bahan ester (dalam hal ini hasil sampingan minyak buni dan dibuat bahan berupa serat fiberpoly). Dibandingkan katun, kain jenis ini lebih tipis, agak kasar, dan tidak bisa menyerap keringat sehingga sangat panas ketika dipakai.

4. TC (TETERON COTTON)

seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi, terpengaruh juga teknologi pengolahan bahan kain. Banyak bahan kain hasil dari penggabungan katun dan Polyester, salah satunya adalah TC. Jenis bahan ini merupakan campuran dari 35% cotton combed dan 65% polyester. TC ini seperti PE, terasas panas ketika memakainya karena kurang bisa menyerap keringat. Namun kelebihannya bahan ini lebih tahan kusut, dan tidak mudah melar meski sudah lama dipakai.

This type of material is a mixture of 35% combed cotton and 65% polyester. TC is like PE, feels the heat when wearing it because it is less able to absorb perspiration. 5. VISCOSE

Viscose biasa juga disebut rayon. Sebuah bahan serat sintesa celulosa organic (buatan manusia) yang biasa digunakan sebagai bahan kain. Teksturnya memiliki kesamaan dengan tekstur kapas. Viscose biasanya digunakan untuk menambahkan kenyamanan pada serat sintesis dan juga menambah kecerahan warna. Serat Viscose mempunyai tahanan kelembaban yang lebih tinggi, kecemerlangan warna yang lebih baik dan lebih lembut dibanding kapas. Namun kain ini terkesan mewah, sehingga harganya mahal dan jarang tersedia di pasaran.

Viscose rayon is also called regular. A fiber material synthesis cellulose organic (man-made) that is commonly used as the fabric. Textures have in common with the texture of cotton. Viscose is typically used to add comfort on fiber synthesis and also adds to the brightness of the color. Viscose fibers have higher moisture, better color brilliance and softer than cotton. But this fabric impressed luxury, so they're expensive and seldom available in the market.

6. CVC ( COTTON VISCOSE)

Jenis bahan kaos ini adalah campuran dari 55% Cotton Combed dan 45% Viscose. Kelebihan dari bahan ini adalah tingkat shrinkage-nya (susut pola) lebih kecil dari bahan Cotton. Jenis bahan ini juga bersifat menyerap keringat.

7. HYGET

Biasanya pembuatan kaos dengan bahan ini dilakukan jika ingin membuat kaos dengan jumlah massal tetapi dana yang tersedia tidak terlalu banyak. Bahan ini banyak digunakan untuk keperluan kampanye partai.
